TM-72 telecommunication rack has been designed in order to enable incorporation of up to 16 pcs of telecommunication devices to access networks like converters and modems: G.704 into V.35/RS-232/RS-449/X.21/RS-530 - MD-73 type: G.SHDSL into V.35/RS-232/RS-449/X.21/RS-530 - MD-74 type; G.704/G.SHDSL - MD-75 type or PDH 4xE1 fibre optic multiplexers - MD-76 type. Owing to rack configuration, its installation in a standard cabinet (width of 19 inches) is possible. The rack height amounts 3U and depth is equal to 242 mm. Configuration and monitoring of the cards is possible by means of console and software for Windows 95/98/NT. One console can be used for monitoring of 16 racks and 256 local cards plus 256 remote devices. Cascade racks connection is possible by means of RS-232 interface. Alarm contacts designed for station monitoring elements controlling have been incorporated.
