The WANsuite 6410 WAN Access Device/IP Router utilize the G.shdsl (referred to as SHDSL) standard into the ATM access space. Each unit is equipped with a network port, a 10/100Base-T Ethernet interface, and a supervisory port. The WANsuite 6410 comes equipped with a serial port that can be used to connect the unit to an existing external router/bridge using PPP/HDLC protocol. The IP Gateway feature enables IP packet routing throughout the LAN/WAN network architecture using a static routing configuration or dynamic routing protocols, substantially reducing the need to purchase costly routers. Furthermore, the 6410 enables network managers to monitor end-to-end network performance, isolate performance problems, determine appropriate bandwidth needs, and monitor network trends to assist in future capacity planning initiatives and controlling expenses and costs. With Verso innovative WANsight technology, remote Web-based access for all management diagnostics and reporting is simplified and cost-effective.
